Location Names

An easy way to make sure the unique names of your locations are reflected on the shipping label.

Warning: changing "Location Name" will change the name of the location we ship to on the shipping label.

If there is no Location Name, we will simply use the account name on the shipping label. This is an optional setting. Chances are, if you haven't had any issues with everything the way it is now, you don't need to add a Location Name.

If your business has multiple locations with different store names or if the name of your store is different than your business' name, you can name your locations so the shipping label will have the most accurate information.

This helps to make sure the shipping or delivery courier can easily identify your physical location.


Change the Location Name of an existing location

To change the Location Name of an existing location, please make sure you're logged in and then visit the Locations section of your account profile.

From there, click on the 3 dots on the top right of the location card and click Edit Address:

Next, fill out the field that's labeled Location Name:

In this example, the name for the physical shipping location would now be changed to XYZ Smoke Shop on the shipping label, even if the Medusa account name is Smoke Solutions XYZ LLC.

So please make sure that the location name reflects what your signage at your physical location says.


Add Location Name to a new location

To add a location name to a new location, simply add the Location Name when you are adding a new location from from the Locations section of your account profile.

To do this, fill out the field that's labeled Location Name:
